Simple domain names
Thursday, January 3rd, 2008I am enamored with the single word domain names, and who purchases them, when they were purchased and how much some of those domains would sell for. I wish I was old enough during the time of the internet boom in order to take advantage of some of these domain names. Domains like www.cars.com, www.stove.com, www.chefs.com,www.cooking.com,www.books.com, www.cruise.com, etc. These names are extremely marketable and also can be very lucrative. As much as I like to cook and love to talk about food, I would love to start a blog at a domain name like www.chefs.com. I would love to share tips on new cooking trends, new cooking inventions, and new places to try and dine out.
When I am looking for different domains now I use various sites like www.digitalpoint.com or wwww.sitepoint.com, in hopes to find some other domain names that you can use for your business process. It is to the point now that if you’re looking to start your own business you should first check if the domain name you want is available for the company name. It is annoying if you can’t get a domain name that is either the same as your company name or at least related to your product.
